Company History

1968
The network of franchised inlingua schools is founded in Bern.

1975
inlingua School of Languages opens in Geneva.

1996
After its first 20 years of activity, inlingua Geneva’s first owner retires and transmits the company to its present owner, Mr. Heeger.

1997
The school grows rapidly and increases its number of classrooms.

2002
inlingua Geneva obtains the eduQua label, the Swiss certificate of quality for continuing education institutions.

2005
Inlingua Geneva obtains a new eduQua certification.  Meanwhile, the inlingua global network grows to a total of 300 centers located in 30 countries. inlingua Geneva employs 55 people from 18 countries. A third of them are full-time employees. More than 15 different languages are taught.

2007
In its quest for excellence, inlingua Geneva’s direction implements a new program designed to constantly improve the quality of its courses and services.

2013
Since January 2013, the new website www.inlingua-geneve.ch is in use.

2014
Double certification eduQua® & ISO 29990.

2015
New and updated English books and launching of the Virtual Classroom as a supplement to the courses.
